Our History

Nordic Scoops is a modern ice cream company that was started in Umeå, Sweden in 2019. The company was founded by four entrepreneurs who saw a clear gap in the market: to create a vegan, animal cruelty-free and protein-rich alternative to traditional ice cream, without compromising on taste or consistency.

The vision was to create an ice cream that feels creamy, luxurious and refreshing, but at the same time is completely plant-based and more nutritious than classic ice cream. After developing their own plant-based ice cream base based on Swedish oats and cashews, they launched their first products in Umeå.

Since the start, Nordic Scoops has grown rapidly and is today sold in 12 countries, while the company also ships products within the Nordic region to companies that want to become resellers.
